I had a commission from someone asking for a "Space Giraffe" and this was the result! I thought it would be a good story for Lion Bean to meet a space giraffe and his alpaca followers. It was a challenge creating a composition so much wider than it was tall. I've included sketches of reference studies of alpacas and giraffes that I used to make sure my cartoon drawings were recognizable as the referenced animal.
