These are two conceptual designs of Nio statues, one with an open mouth, one with a closed mouth, both with masks reflecting the opposite of their nature. Both are to be created out of paper with a wire armature. The Nio statue on the right has been completed with a removable mask, and is viewable below. He is constructed completely out of paper, with a wire armature.
